NOKIA 7710
There are two ways to install Ring-Writer:
First Method
The easiest way to install Ring-Writer is to download and install it
directly from the website to your Nokia 7710 using mobile web brower over
GPRS connection. If you have GPRS connection service enabled by your
Mobile Telecom Operator (Vodaphone, Orange, etc), you don't need to
do other settings because Nokia 7710 automatically detects these settings.
1) Open mobile web browser (application with Earth icon and named "Web",
second on the middle column).
2) Type http://www.ring-writer.com/download/nokia7710/RingWriter.jar on
bottom address bar and press that green arrow icon to connect. Caution:
URL is case sensitive
Dialog boxes will guide you step by step until the application will be
installed. Bellow are shown the dialog boxes from every installation
step:

(These listings may differ, depending on your Mobile Telecom Operator. You should select from this list
your GPRS Connection.)

Open with application: App. Manager
Save Save and Open Cancel
Press "Save and Open" button.

Save file
Name: RingWriter.jar
Location: My files
Ok Cancel
Press "Ok" button.

Application installation: Confirm installation
Name: Ring-Writer 1.0
Supplier: Ring-Writer.com
Finish (grey) Next Cancel
Press "Next" button.
7)
Application installation: Certificate verification
No signature found. Application suite cannot be trusted.
Finish(grey) Next Cancel
Press "Next" button.
8)
Application installation: Select location
Save file "Ring-Writer' to:
'Device' (xxMB available)
'Memory card' (yyMB available)
(Up to zz kB may be required)
Finish(grey) Next Cancel
Press "Next" button.
9)
Application installation: Complete
File installation complete
Ok Next(grey) Cancel(grey)
Press "Ok" button.
10) Close web browser and you will find Ring-Writer has been added at the
end of applications list. Start it and enjoy it :-).
Second method of installing Ring-Writer:
1) Using your web browser, download the RingWriter.jar file to your PC
from http://www.ring-writer.com/download/nokia7710/RingWriter.jar .
2) Install (if you don't have it already installed) Nokia PC Suite from
Nokia 7710 CD.
3) Start Nokia PC Suite.
4) From Nokia PC Suite main window select "Install applications" Icon.
5) Connect your 7710 mobile phone to your PC over USB Cable or Bluetooth.
6) Double click on RingWriter.jar file in left panel from "Nokia
Application Installer".
7) Continue installation process on your mobile.
7.1) Application installation: Confirm installation
Name: Ring-Writer 1.0
Supplier: Ring-Writer.com
Finish (grey) Next Cancel
Press "Next" button.
7.2)
Application installation: Certificate verification
No signature found. Application suite cannot be trusted.
Finish(grey) Next Cancel
Press "Next" button.
7.3)
Application installation: Select location
Save file "Ring-Writer' to:
'Device' (xxMB available)
'Memory card' (yyMB available)

Press "Ok" button.
8) You will find Ring-Writer has been added at the end of applications
list. Start it and enjoy it :-).
